Bull.

in PVP I can understand the benefits of mix n match knights + glads, but in PVE it doesn't matter. I've been playing for months finished the game a looong time ago, done countless FoW and Underworld Runs, all in FULL knights armor.

Why? because the other armors are ugly and I refuse to let my warrior run around in a skirt. 15K plate would be awesome except I can't get over how illogical it is to have GIANT shoulder fins blocking the warriors field of vision. It's a personal preference and I really couldn't care less about the "decent" players that would exclude an experienced player from their group just because of the armor they are wearing. There's always another group somewhere else.

I'd rather them release a whole new type of armor, then waste their time reskinning an old one. But chapter 2 is coming for a reason, so maybe you should just bide your time and be ready to pounce on a new set, instead of worrying about a prolithic wammo skin. I'd like to see armor that actually does something special like the lieutenants helm that reduces hex duration, it'd be awesome at a max armor rating. But thats my 2 cents.

cmon dude, pick your battles, the shoulder pads are blocking the warrior's view more then this helmet? nothing illogical about wanting something to keep a swift chop to the neck from lopping off your head

It's such a shame that knights and ascalon armour are effectively broken.

would be nice if the chest piece didn't stack, so that a full suit would have double absorb and not be so utterly inefficient.

Problem I have is every Wammo who uses Knights I've seen just gets hammered when tanking. My Warr/Nec is much more effective at soaking it up, and I only ware platemail, so I assume that the extra +5 is making all the difference

ok I'll submit that the helm would be a problem as well, but I mean seriously if you gotta choose between the Platemail helm and the knights helm, the platemail helm looks a lot cooler. The only time I wear the knights helm is when I am using the lieutenants helm.

looks kinda like a teddy bear

I think the fins on the 15k Platemail are similar to the armor worn by knights during joust tournament, to protect the head, since a full blow the the head with a long wooden pole pretty much equaled death. The fins protected the head because the pole would slide off to the side or to the top, causing more of a whiplash effect. It also didn't really hinder the view of the knight because all they had to do was run forwards, but they were still very accurate at positioning their pole.
But, since there are no mounts, polearms or jousting duels, I might be wrong about the tru reason behind the fins...

I would love a set of 15k knights, as long as it looked like Justiciar Hablion's armor. That would be pimp.
